Romain Grosjean returns to Dale Coyne Racing for his fifth NTT INDYCAR SERIES season in 2026, driving the No. 18 Honda. After spending 2025 as a reserve driver with PREMA Racing, he resumes full-time competition with the team where he made his INDYCAR debut in 2021.
The Swiss-born French driver made 180 Formula 1 starts, earning 10 podium finishes, including career-best runner-up results in Montreal and Austin, Texas. Since transitioning to INDYCAR, Grosjean has competed for Dale Coyne Racing, Andretti Global and Juncos Hollinger Racing, establishing himself as a versatile contender across street circuits, road courses and ovals.
Off track, Grosjean speaks French, English and Italian. He is passionate about cooking and has said he would have pursued a career as a chef if racing hadn’t worked out. He and his wife, Marion, have co-authored a cookbook.
