NTT INDYCAR SERIES racing continues to draw bigger audiences on FOX, as the network averaged 1,344,000 million viewers for its telecast of The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio Presented by the 2027 CR-V Hybrid on Sunday, July 5, a 73 percent increase over last year’s rating for the same event.

The Mid-Ohio race drew 775,000 viewers in 2025.

This year’s broadcast peaked at 1,541,000 viewers near the end of the race, won by Pato O’Ward of Arrow McLaren (photo, top).

The increased rating continues a season-long upward trend for FOX and INDYCAR. Through 11 races, INDYCAR on FOX is averaging 1,979,000 viewers. That’s an 18 percent increase over the same juncture of the 2025 season, when an average of 1,678,000 viewers tuned in during FOX’s first season as the series’ television partner.

FOX’s next race day broadcast is Sunday, July 19 for the Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix presented by OnlyBulls at Nashville Superspeedway.
