Road America Thriller Draws Big Audience Jump on FOX

Largest Ratings Outside of Indy 500 Since 2011
The largest non-Indianapolis 500 audience for an INDYCAR SERIES race since 2011 watched FOX’s broadcast of the XPEL Grand Prix of Road America Presented by AMR on Sunday, June 21, highlighted by Arrow McLaren’s Christian Lundgaard driving from last on the first lap to an improbable victory.
FOX averaged 1,803,000 viewers for the 10th race of the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season, an increase of 131 percent over last year’s Road America race on FOX, which drew 781,000 viewers. The audience Sunday peaked at an impressive 2,943,000 viewers.
The huge jump in viewership continued a trend of increased viewership for the series this season on FOX. Through 10 races this season, INDYCAR on FOX is averaging 2,033,000 viewers, up 14 percent from the already growing audience from 2025 (1,783,000), FOX’s first season as INDYCAR’s broadcast partner.
