When you snap a celeb picture at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, be prepared for surprises. Race car drivers are everywhere and they show up unexpectedly. INDYCAR’s Conor Daly and NASCAR Xfinity driver Ryan Reed photo-bombed their way into this shot of Joe Jonas last weekend taken when Jonas’ band, DNCE, played 400 Fest at the Brickyard.

Four-time Verizon IndyCar Series champion and current points leader Scott Dixon celebrated his 37th birthday Saturday and social media was buzzing with well wishes. Fellow driver James Hinchcliffe’s post said it all.

We’re not sure how it happened, but apparently JR Hildebrand gave a pair of newlyweds a lift to their nuptials in his gorgeous, pink 1960 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. We wish them luck and lots of fun retelling that racing story.

Joy ride
After the first pictures of the 2018 car were published, Juan Pablo Montoya and Oriol Servia got a chance to take the new bodywork for a spin around the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval. They weren’t mad about it.
