Wait. What?
Apparently, no one told Fernando Alonso about the 6 a.m. race day wake-up call at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Wait until he finds out what they use as an alarm clock. #cannon #codebrown

“That handprint.”

Buckeye Nation
Graham Rahal was slightly starstruck on Indianapolis Colts rookie day at IMS when former Ohio State safety Malik Hooker popped into his pit box. “He’s gonna be a stud here!” Rahal tweeted of Hooker’s future in Indy. Takes one to know one, Graham!

Woooooooo!
Conor Daly took abuse from wrestling icon “Nature Boy” Ric Flair during Indy 500 media day in New York City. Expect a rematch on Sunday, when Flair serves as special emcee at the Indy 500 Snake Pit presented by Coors Light during this year’s running of the Indianapolis 500.

Vasser puts on big-boy pants
Flight attendants on their trip from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia back to the United States accidentally swapped retired Indy car driver Jimmy Vasser’s complimentary jammies with Tommy Kendall’s. Fortunately, the drivers — in Saudi Arabia to participate in the Race of Heroes (along with Townsend Bell) — sorted it all out.

Bourdais on track
Nothing witty to say here. Just more grateful than ever to know that Sebastien Bourdais is going to be OK following his horrific crash during qualifying. We love you, Seb.
