Christian Lundgaard, the 2022 NTT INDYCAR SERIES Rookie of the Year, begins his second season with Arrow McLaren in 2026, driving the No. 7 Chevrolet. He finished a career-best fifth in the 2025 standings with six podiums, establishing himself as a consistent top finisher.
Before joining Arrow McLaren, Lundgaard raced for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, where he earned his first INDYCAR victory at Toronto in 2023. He also competed in FIA Formula 2, recording two wins and six podiums in 2020, and previously captured championships in SMP F4 and Spanish F4, along with an FIA Formula 3 race victory.
Born in Denmark, Lundgaard is the son of European Rally champion Henrik Lundgaard and began his racing career alongside his older brother Daniel in karting, winning Danish and European karting titles. Off track, he enjoys golf, playing Call of Duty on his PlayStation and watching Netflix shows, particularly NCIS.
