James Hinchcliffe and Ryan Hunter-Reay

INDYCAR's #FastSix is a report that borrows from all things found online about NTT IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We find pics, quips and the occasional GIF as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence on Twitter, Instagram and more. Check back regularly for the latest.

Standing tall

Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports driver Robert Wickens celebrated his ongoing, remarkable recovery from injuries suffered in a crash last year by posting on Wednesday the newest in a series of videos showing him getting stronger and using his legs.

In the latest, Wickens stands with only the help of his fiancée, Karli Woods, and our hearts melted watching them share a standing hug for the first time in six months. Wickens says he’s not done there, either – he intends to dance with Woods when he marries her in September. We can’t wait.

Love Your Pet Day

The internet celebrated Love Your Pet Day this week and INDYCAR drivers did, too, posting pictures of themselves and their furry friends. Team Penske’s Simon Pagenaud and his Jack Russell terrier got P1.

Love your human day, too

James Hinchcliffe didn’t let Valentine’s Day pass without writing the sweetest of notes to his love, fiancée Becky Dalton, and posting a series of photos that included a snap from their high school days when Hinch was still cleanshaven.

An affair to remember

Reigning NTT IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon reminded the world of the day he married his wife, Emma Davies Dixon, as the racing couple celebrated their 11th anniversary last week. Talk about relationship goals.

Relaxing for a cause

Andretti Autosport driver Ryan Hunter-Reay and Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports’ James Hinchcliffe spent a few days in California golfing and teaching a driving school for donors who support Hunter-Reay’s Racing For Cancer charity. They also go a little extra track time at the site of this year’s season finale, WeatherTech Raceway at Laguna Seca. That didn’t go unnoticed.

“Illegal testing. I’m filing a complaint,” Alexander Rossi jokingly commented on Hichcliffe’s Instagram post about the weekend.

Not one to be outdone, Hinch responded: “Well, then, I’m filing a complaint about your face.”

The games Penskes play

With just two weeks before the start of the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season at the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, fans are about to be treated to a third season of Penske Games videos, too. No idea what’ll show up next online, but we recently got a glimpse when this video posted:
