This week's Classic Rewind is Mario Andretti's win in the 1988 Budweiser Grand Prix from Cleveland's Burke Lakefront Airport.

Sometimes here at Classic Rewind HQ, we get lazy. We hit the random button and see where the Wayback Machine sends us.

This week, it found us a jewel, the 1988 Budweiser Grand Prix of Cleveland from the temporary circuit at Burke Lakefront Airport.

Round 6 of the 1988 season was a three-man fight between Mario Andretti, Bobby Rahal and Danny Sullivan. The three led nearly all the laps of the race and battled hard for win toward the end of the event.

In the end, it was Mario who beat Rahal and Sullivan to win what was his 51st career victory, holding off the hard-charging challengers behind him.
