INDYCAR's Fast Six is a report that borrows from all things found online about Verizon IndyCar Series racing, its drivers and people. We find pics, quips and the occasional GIF as INDYCAR drivers live their extraordinary lives and put the evidence on Twitter, Instagram and more. Check back regularly for the latest.

‘L’ IS FOR LOVE … AND LINDSEY

INDYCAR driver Conor Daly had a special reply for Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, who turned to Twitter to find her Valentine last week.

SMOKIN’ FAST HOTCAKES

Jon Beekhuis, the pit reporter on ABC and NBCSN telecasts of Verizon IndyCar Series races, awoke over the weekend to a welcome surprise. His daughter made some fancy pancakes with a familiar design.

ALL DRESSED UP AND NOWHERE TO RACE?

Team Penske’s Simon Pagenaud caught the racing fever while watching the Daytona 500 on Sunday, so he did what any other red-blooded INDYCAR driver would do: suit up (helmet, gloves and racing shoes included) and hop into the racing simulator in his home. Visor down, Simon, visor down!

#FOMO Daytona500, living room edition. Is it #IndyCar season yet?!

COUNTDOWN THE DAYS

The start of the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series season is but two weeks away, which also means we’re drawing nearer to “The Greatest Spectacle in Racing.” The Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil commemorated 100 days until the 102nd running on Feb. 16.

GENERATIONS OF GREATNESS

The Andretti family racing legacy was on display as Mario Andretti, son Michael and grandson Marco gathered at the Andretti Autosport shop in Indianapolis to film a commercial for Firestone, the exclusive tire supplier to the Verizon IndyCar Series. Oh, to be a fly on the wall (or in the cockpit) to eavesdrop on their stories!

BEAUTIFUL CLOSE-UP

Graham Rahal posted this Instagram photo of his No. 15 Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Honda as he prepared to do some testing this week at Barber Motorsports Park. We’re as eager as he is for the season to begin!

ENJOYING THE RIDE

Conor Daly and Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi made it to the final episode of “The Amazing Race” before being eliminated in fourth place – making the INDYCAR world proud. At last week’s viewing part in Indianapolis, they were joined by Schmidt Peterson Motorsports driver and admitted “Amazing Race” fan Robert Wickens. Smiles and laughs ensued.
